Integrity

Integrity is a concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes. In ethics, integrity is regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one's actions. Integrity can be regarded as the opposite of hypocrisy.

May integrity and honesty protect me, for I put my hope in you. Psalm 25:21

Our Youth intern tonight spoke about "Character" and mainly what I got out of it was Integrity. Integrity basically means being the same on the outside as you are in the inside.. So your morals and values always apply. You act the same like all the time pretty much. So using Christianity as an example, it would mean to have the same principles at church as you do at school. This is really hard to do sometimes, I'm in high school and some kids can be pretty cruel but in my personal experience its been pretty smooth! I get made fun of and called some names, but that's what people do no matter what, if they don't do it because I'm a Christian they will just find something else to point out, so I'm very happy to be called a Jesus Freak because I defiantly do not take it as an insult. I don't hide the fact that I'm a Christian and I love talking to people about it. Mainly because I have just recently became a Christian so the majority of my friends are not Christians and I love that they always have questions! This isn't as easy for some people though but my small group leader read to us this story of a girl who was fun of "Jesus Freak Integrity" and one thing she had said something about only having an audience of one and instead of worrying of everyone else's impression of us we should just work on His.
